In order to save conventional energy and reduce pollution, SOMEC can take advantage of the abundant biomass resources and convert it into gas through thermal chemical gasification for power generation, which will realize the efficient & clean utilization of biomass and achieve the goal of energy conservation and emissions reduction.
Along with the process of gasification power generation, different kinds of biomass also can bring augmented products with economic benefits, such like biomass vinegar (vinegar) and the biomass carbon which is used to control the furnace material carbonization rate to be around 50%-60%. It could bring more economic benefits to the user.
Biomass gasification internal combustion power generation system is mainly composed of gasifier, gas purification systems and internal combustion generator, etc. Biomass is converted into gas through thermal chemical gasification inside the furnace. In order to meet the requirements of long-term and reliable operation of the gas engine, the gas need to be cooled and purified so that the gas temperature is reduced to below 40degree centigrade, and dust content of tar is within 30mg/Nm3. After purification, the gas enters into internal combustion engine for power generation.
